Asma Mirza

Throughout her career, Asma Mirza has worked on some of the hardest issues facing the country and its economy, from the response to COVID-19, to rebuilding America’s infrastructure, to ensuring a peaceful transition of presidential power in 2016 and 2020. She currently serves as the Chief Performance Officer for Governor Wes Moore. In that role, Asma leads implementation of the Governor’s priorities in the State Plan, Federal worker response efforts, and the modernization of state government to save taxpayer money. She also helped lead the economic response to the Key Bridge collapse. Before this role, Asma served as the Deputy for Implementation Management and Special Assistant to the President, where she helped oversee the implementation of the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Asma is a graduate of Georgetown University, where she earned a degree in Leadership and Change Management and Operations Information Management. She earned her MBA from the University of Maryland.
